Midweek Meditation: Wednesday, October 28, 2026
Dear Calvary family,
“Everything is a gift.” Health is a gift. A special talent is a gift. Your loved ones are a gift. Your ability to hold a job and provide for your family is a gift.
If a person lives life with the mindset of everything is a gift, he or she is filled with gratitude and appreciation. And more significantly, that person is connected to God who is the Source of all that is, which means that individual has the support needed to grow in grace and also the blessing to live generously.
Welcome to CONNECTED: Growing in Grace and Living Generously, our four-week conversation about how our God in Jesus has designed generosity with a built-in cycle of mutual connection. As you pour into others, you are restored. Proverbs 11:25 states, ” a generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
As we honor our saints during All Saints Sunday, we will also remember God’s provision and hopefully shift our mindset from self-sufficiency to abiding trust in the goodness and grace of our Lord.
Join us as we honor our beloved Calvary saints, ring a bell, and share a gift. Moreover, we will dine at the Lord’s Table this holy Sunday.
Let us be connected: growing in grace and living generously,
Pastor Michelle
