Midweek Meditation: Wednesday, August 26, 2026
Dear Calvary family,
Yes, I know it isn’t Easter season. We are still sweating through the humidity of a Hoosier August. And yes, I also realize Sunday will not be a funeral service, but we will still spend time with Jesus’ next I AM portrait, “I Am the Resurrection and the Life.” Why? Why do we need resurrection? What’s the significance of LIFE?
Because there is too much death around us. Whether that is physical, moral, emotional, relational, and financial death. Dead within us. And dead among us! Bring these bones back to life, Lord Jesus! Awaken us! Stir us up, Holy Spirit.
Join us as we converse with the One who is Resurrection and Life as He heals us! Calvary continues our fifth Sunday tradition of laying on of hands and healing prayers following the message.
With the eyes of our hearts enlightened with the hope who is Jesus the Christ,
Pastor Michelle

Chores include things like spreading mulch, weeding and trimming, and applying cold patch to holes in the drive. For those who prefer to be indoors, there will be some inside tasks as well. Check out the sign-up sheet on the Mission table across from the office.
