2020 has been a year of many changes, hardships, and fears. There are some of us who experienced job loss or illness and we understand you cannot give as you have before. Others have had the economy of not commuting or working from home and we ask you to step up your gifts. But the year has also offered us opportunities and blessings--some of which afford us the gift of gratitude.
Much of our church life has shifted to online experiences for worship, community, connection and giving. These opportunities will continue to grow! Despite life changes many of you have increased your online stewardship and we appreciate your adjustments and continued giving.
Toward that end, we invite you to join with all of God's people in our pledges of thanksgiving and joy as we move ONWARD in 2021. Your pledges of time, talent, treasure and witness will be vital to God's work in the new year, and we hope that you will discover new places to serve and grow in your gratitude to God.

I Will Give My Time
2020 was a year of change and challenge for the church. But 2021 offers us new opportunities to give our time to God’s work. We can volunteer to help with Family Promise, Habitat for Humanity, our local food pantries, as well as being present in worship, small groups, and leadership teams. Your time is reflected in that portion of our Ministry Funding Plan that addresses our shared ministries and mission.
I Will Give My Talent
As you consider your blessings of the past year, how might you express your gratitude to God in 2021? Perhaps you like to teach, or perhaps you play and instrument, enjoy gardening, or mowing, or cooking, or have a talent that you could use to serve God and others. Your talents are expressed in those portions of our Ministry and Facilities Funding Plans that address Calvary’s ministry and facility needs.
I Will Give My Treasure
Through our Facilities Fund, in 2021 we will continue to pay down the Calvary mortgage while making other capital improvements. Likewise, your generous gifts to the Ministry Funding Plans support Calvary staff, utilities, administration, and all of the shared ministries of the annual conference and general church. Once again, we have worked hard to hold or trim expenses and in 2021 our funding plans will see no increases in either our Ministry Funding Budget or our Facilities Funding Budget.
Commit to join us as God moves in our community through his work at Calvary in 2021. Calvary is committed to our mission in Seeking God, Loving One Another and Reaching Out. You are the church, you are Calvary and help make this mission come to life in the lives of our community, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces and homes whether it be together in person or at a distance.
